Services

IASE Co., Inc. provides a full range of services to its clients to ensure cost-effective, flexible, effective and efficient packaging systems.

Design

IASE designs custom packaging solutions for its clients. Every IASE solution is built using top-of-the-line commercially available components that are readily available in the United States.

  • All hardware is designed, manufactured, tested, and assembled on site to meet customer specifications.

  • System prototypes are built and tested to guarantee up to 99.6% process efficiency.

  • Every system features a full-sized HMI featuring a customized, IASE-developed interface designed to meet customer requirements.

  • All HMIs provide detailed diagnostic and control capabilities.

  • Bilingual HMIs are available.

Other services provided by IASE include:

  • Packaging/carton redesign to improve efficiency or reduce cost

  • HMI wireless access to facilitate remote diagnostics by IASE technicians

By using top-of-the-line materials in all of its products and modules, IASE is able to provide packaging solutions that are virtually maintenance free.  However, IASE does also provide a one-year guarantee on all of its equipment; any elements provided by external vendors come with the manufacturer's warranty.  IASE also supports a full range of service technicians and replacement parts.

Installation

The modular design of IASE system components means that systems can be installed in an average of two to three days. IASE can provide transportation and rigging for installation and on-site assembly.

All systems are tested at IASE prior to transport and are tested again at the installation site.  During installation, systems are prepared and tested; any necessary troubleshooting is completed during initial production runs.  By the end of the installation process, the IASE system will be running in full production mode to ensure that it meets all of the acceptance criteria established by the customer.

Every IASE system includes manuals on disk, in the system HMI, and in paper form.  Copies of the system software may also be supplied on disk.

 Support

IASE offers full support for all products and modules.

  • All customer questions are answered directly by IASE.

  • IASE service technicians are on call 24 hours a day.

  • IASE products and modules contain no proprietary components; all commercial hardware is available for purchase throughout the United States and worldwide.

  • All mechanical and electrical components used in IASE equipment are stocked in-house so that spare parts can be shipped the same day.

  • Any components from non-domestic vendors are available duty- and tax-free and with reduced shipping costs.

  • Bilingual HMI touch screens, manuals, and documents are available.

All IASE systems are designed in compliance with the following standards:

OSHA, ANSI, NEC, NEMA, UL, IEEE, ASTM, CE, and CSA

IASE representatives can answer any questions about special requirements to these and other codes.

 Components

All manufactured parts are made at IASE's location in central New Jersey.

There are no proprietary components; all commercial hardware is available for purchase throughout the United States and worldwide.

All components include manuals and documentation, written in plain English, with original vendor part numbers from domestic vendors including Servo Packs, PLCs, Drives, and so on.

Software & Electrical

Software

IASE systems are supplied with a full SCADA run-time software package and full VMS open architecture (modular concept).  In addition, systems are offered with a fully integrated Bosch or Allen Bradley PLC.  This software drives the color, flat-touch Human Machine Interface (HMI) with multiple operator interface screens.  A development package is also available from the software manufacturer if desired; the development package allows customers to develop their own screens and functions.

Bilingual HMI touch screens, manuals, and documentation are available.

Electronics

All electronics are housed in one central enclosure. This allows for safe and easy troubleshooting through the operator interface. Remote, wireless access is another option that allows IASE technicians to remotely diagnose any issues.

Mechanical

All IASE drive train components are modular and commercially available.

The modular nature of the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components means that customer spare part inventories are reduced and can be utilized for multiple machines.
