Michele D'Egidio, who holds both Electrical and Mechanical engineering degrees, founded IASE Company Inc. in 1986. Mr. D'Egidio's original focus was directed towards the development and manufacturing of Vision Inspection Systems for the Pharmaceutical Industry. His other emphasis was the development of Prototype Automated Packaging Systems concentrating on the Snack Food, Confectionery, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Goods Industries that are predominant in the northeast. The latter would become the primary focus of IASE as demand for the technology that IASE was responsible for pioneering increased.
